ABOUT
Nestled in a secluded canyon in the Sierra Foothills is an Tuscan-style villa with a vineyard, mature olives trees, an orchard and 1000 feet of riverfront. With the perfect combination of beauty and function, this property is truly unlike any other. From the perfect location on the North Fork of the Cosumnes River, to the high-end amenities, to the personality built-in throughout the design, this estate is ready and waiting to become your ideal vacation retreat. The Villa has four fireplaces, an 1800 square foot deck, and stone pathways and walls that provide an old world atmosphere. Take a stroll through the gardens, vineyards, and olive groves and enjoy the peace and serenity of this country property.
OUR ACCOMODATIONS
There are two Tuscan styled homes on the property. The Villa Main House accommodates up to eight guests- six guests in three private bedrooms, each with a king bed. There's also a very comfy queen tempurpedic sofa bed in the library for two additional guests. The Guesthouse accommodates up to six guests in three bedrooms, each with a king bed. Additional sleeping options are available upon request.
ABOUT OUR PROPERTY
Food
There is a full-service chef's kitchen in the Villa main house and a second kitchen in the guesthouse. The closest grocery store is about 20 minutes away so bring what you will need. You won't want to leave.
Wifi
We've recently installed Starlink internet in the Main House. Internet and Wifi can also be accessed through cell service with AT&T or Verizon either through hotspotting from a phone or using a jetpack you can bring with you. We do have cell phone reception (AT&T or Verizon only), and it can be spotty in certain locations.
Gardens
Our 41 acre property has three acres of vineyards, over 500 mature olive trees, 50 pomegranate bushes, gardens full of roses, perennial flowers, grasses, vegetables and fruit trees. Many large heritage oaks grace the property along with Italian Cypress trees.

Options
Tell us what you need or desire We can arrange for a housekeeper , yoga instructor, masseuse, or chef to come to the property to pamper you. Just ask, and we will work to make it happen for you.
Accessibility
The Villa property is located in a canyon along the banks of the Cosumnes River. The terrain is steep and is not suitable for those who cannot navigate stairs or hills.

Local Wineries
There are many great wineries in El Dorado County. Some excellent local wineries include Holly's Hill Vineyards, Sierra Vista winery, Miraflores Winery, Ursa Winery, and Starfields Vineyards
Cultural Sites
The Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic park is located about 30 minutes from the Villa and is where the gold rush began. There are museums, tours, gold panning and scenic hikes.
State Parks
Folsom Lake State Recreation Area is about 45 minutes from the Villa. Activities include hiking, biking, running, camping, fishing, horseback riding, water skiing and boating.
Sly Park Recreation Area/Jenkinson Lake is also a beautiful 45 minute drive from the Villa. There is an easy walking trail around the lake.
Leisure Activities
For golfing, the Apple Mountain Golf Resort is located in Apple Hill
For skiing, Sierra-at-Tahoe is 55 miles from the villa and takes less than 1 1/2 hours to drive. A bit further away are Kirkwood (64 miles) and Heavenly (69 miles) ski resorts.

White Water Rafting
Rafting on the American River out of Coloma, California is a short 40 minute drive. Check out OARS, American River Outpost, or American Whitewater Expeditions.
Dining Out
Allez in Diamond Springs serves delicious French fare. Check out Poor Reds BBQ for great barbecue and salads. There are also a variety of great options both in downtown Placerville (a 20 minute drive) and in Folsom (a 40 minute drive).

"From the start Barry was very responsive and helpful. The place itself is really beautiful and worth the drive from South Bay. It's a perfect spot for a large group, and ours had a lot of fun. Barry was an amazing host that was in communication with us to make our stay the best it could possibly be. both houses were very spacious for our group of 6 couples.
